Easy DVD Ripper & Converter

Easy DVD Ripper & Converter is a DVD ripper for Windows. It can be used to copy your DVD movies to the hard drive and, from there, to a variety of other devices. The application consists of three modes: DVD ripping, File copying, and Burner. The first one is the most important component. It is the mode in which you rip the DVD movies. The process is fairly easy. Once the application detects a DVD movie in the tray, it will list the available titles, along with their names and duration. By default, it checks the first title that is considerably long, like, say, 40 minutes or more. But you can check other titles as well. You could even copy the entire DVD movie if you wanted to. Then, you select a conversion format from a drop-down list. The available formats are DIVX, MPEG-4, VCD, and SVCD.

The second mode is supposed to be used to copy the converted files into devices like a PSP or an iPod, but when you access the mode, it takes you to a website that shows you how to do this on iTunes.

The last mode is a DVD burner. You can add MPEG-1 files to create VCDs and SVCDs. But that is all.
